This year's batch was scarce but I am thankful and very lucky I was able to procure a small batch for this years smudging!
This blessing enables me to bring you the best of the best god has to offer to her children!
Tonantzintlalli, mother Earth, is still blessing us! It's time to smudge the world she says! Ajuaaa!
π₯This listing is for 1 (1 oz.) Copal de la Penca bag
π₯The big bar of copal you see in the listing is around 5 to 6 ounces. Please message me if you would like to purchase a bigger piece so I can make a custom order.
The size of the one ounce listing is smaller than the bars.
This copal is one of the best to use in ceremonies and rituals as it is considered highly sacred due to it's high purity and amazing fresh scent. This copal has a stronger more powerful scent when burned as opposed to regular grade white copal. I use this copal to create my Aztek Aura Copal Oil as it more aromatic and stronger to the senses.
The aroma of this copal is so divine and blissful, leaving a cleansing fresh scent after its use whether in oil or smoke. Highly treasured by our ancestors, this copal never touches the ground as it is collected using big Agave leaf or aloe vera leaf attached to the copal tree. The sap falls on the leaf and it gets collected creating a bar of copal with the freshest scent.
This copal is pure and unprocessed and of the highest quality. It has been used in ceremonies from times immemorial and still used for incense and its medicinal properties to this very day.
πThis October harvest has been very abundant and we at Mango Mantras are blessed to have this offering in our shop.
πSustainably harvested by my Copalero Artisan brothers in Morelos, Mexico.
πTree specie: Bursera Copallifera (Copal Santo)

How to Use:
To use the copal resin incense, ignite a charcoal tablet, and place the tablet in a fire-safe burning bowl. You may either set a piece of the resin incense directly on top of the hot charcoal table or grind the piece to a fine powder and sprinkle on the glowing tablet. Happy smudging!
