Translation: 'Om and salutations to that feminine energy which bestows all manner of wealth, and for which Shreem is the seed'
This mantra has not only been used for the purpose of attracting prosperity, but also for drawing in proper friends, clearing up family misunderstandings and quarrels, and smoothing some health problems. As we all know, there are many different kinds of wealth. As you use this mantra, focus on the kind of wealth you wish to manifest in your life.
Whether it’s more health, wealth, or happiness, you can chant this mantra to the goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu embodiment of good fortune, prosperity, and beauty – 108 times every day for 40 days.
SHREEM is the seed sound for the principle of abundance. Repetition of the SHREEM mantra gives you the ability to attract and maintain abundance.
MAHA means "great," in both quantity and quality. When you speak of the quality of abundance here, it is in harmony with divine law.
LAKSHMI in Sanskrit it means the energy of abundance. The Goddess of Abundance.
SWAHA means "I testify". You could also say Namaha instead which means, "I bow" This is the release of the prayer. People over the age of 28 should use Swaha, instead of Namaha because the energy in the body shifts after the age of 28 due to their Saturn cycle which starts again after 28 years, a new phase of learning starts when Saturn returns back to its place every 28 years.
